The Muse: Should men depict women?

23 March - 31 May 2018

Aidan Meller is delighted to announce the exhibition, 'The Muse: Should men depict women'. Tackling issues raised by the Weinstein and Waterhouse scandals head on, this exhibition invites a complex response to issues of gender and sexuality today.

Featuring original works for sale by Camille PIssarro, his son Ludovic-Rodo Pissarro, as well as Henry Moore, Roger Hilton, and Jacob Epstein, the exhibition surveys a history of men's depictions of women. From Impressionism to post-impressionism, Modern British to St Ives, this exhibition provokes a complex response.
